Indian appearance like Sydney toddler reunited with parents

SYDNEY - The toddler who was found wandering unsupervised on a Western Sydney street has been reunited with his parents.
He had previously been spotted by two off-duty paramedics and was in the police’s care.
His parents contacted the New South Wales Department of Community Services (DoCS) around 6 hours after he was found.
The reunion has come as a relief for the police who were even considering holding a press-conference to appeal to the boy’s parents to come forward.
“You can only just think about what could happen with a busy road with that number of vehicles at that time in the morning,” the Sydney Morning Herald quoted Perinth duty officer Inspector Cox, as saying.
Police will investigate the matter but it is too early to know if the parents will face criminal charges, he added.
“DOCS will advise us and police will be conducting further inquiries into this matter,” he told reporters. (ANI)
