Sonia Gandhi calls UP people to question Mayawati on funds utilization

Rae Bareily, May 17 (ANI): Congress President Sonia Gandhi who began her three-day tour of Rae Bareily, has asked the people to seek an account from Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati on the utilization of Central funds for development.
“The biggest responsibility is that of the state government to ensure our centrally aided schemes are implemented properly. But you know what the attitude of the state government has been towards Rae Bareily and Amethi,” Sonia Gandhi said.
During her visit Gandhi inaugurated a slew of development programmes in the constituency. he began by inaugurating the newly constructed building of a sub-post office and launching Wi-Max services BSNL at Dalmau.
On Tuesday, she would meet party workers and people.
On the third and final day, she would meet people at ITI guest house and expected to undertake surprise visit before leaving for Delhi. (ANI)
