GLENDALE (GaeaTimes.com)- On Thursday night the Glendale police was ultimately able to trace 22-year-old Nancy Salas and reunite her with her family. They could reach to the girl when she on Thursday went to a carpet store in Merced and asked its employees to dial 911 and inform the police of her being at that place. She told to the police at the beginning that she was abducted and had escape from the clutches of the abductor but later went on to confess that she had actually left her home on her own will.

Nancy Salas‘ mother told to the investigating officers before that she had left home for jogging on Wednesday morning at around 6:30 a.m. However, she did not return home at the due time which led her parents to complain to police. While investigating the police found that Nancy Salas was not attending her UCLA classes for long. The authority said that Nancy Salas was enrolled to the college in the fall of 2008. The police became suspicious of the moves of the missing girl. On Thursday night Nancy Salas reveled before uniting with her family that she had left her home as she could not cope with the stress. She was considered a good student by her family and the stress of not being able to live up to the expectation of her parents drove her to take such a drastic step.

After uniting with her family on Thursday, Nancy Salas addressed her neighbors and friends at her apartment and thanked them for their support. Nancy Salas‘ mother Joanna Salas said that her daughter’s return has brought her back to life. The family is happy that everything ended beautifully.
