ROBERT (GaeaTimes.com)- BP PLC the owner of the Gulf of Mexico oil well that has been leaking gallons of oil into the sea per day for around a month now has released on Wednesday an exclusive footage of the oil leak under the sea. The video footage shows oil oozing out of the well like a stream. The broken pipe that is leaking the oil into the sea lies 5000 feet below the surface of the sea.
Since the oil leak started twenty-one days ago, it has become a thing of serious worry not only for the owner of the oil well, BP PLC but also for the federal government as the oil leak is sure to cause huge damages to the marine life and also to the environment. Many fishermen have been turned jobless due to the huge oil leak as they have been restricted to venture out on the sea. In these twenty-one days the company has tried many ways to block the leak but failed in each of its attempt. The BP Oil leak according to Doug Suttles is still pouring out gallons of natural gas into the sea and that the amount of it has not decreased in these twenty-one days.
The BP Oil leak video has two footages. One of the footages show a gushing black gas mixing with a light colored fluid while another shows a huge containment dome lowering onto the leak. When asked by a media source why the video footage was not released earlier by BP PLC, Doug Suttles has reportedly said that the company’s technicians were busy with controlling the oil leak and did not have the time to prepare the footage.
