Air India Express Flight Commander Shortage

DELHI, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)- Air India Express, which happens to be one of the most low budget global carriers shall offer exciting travel packages for all passengers to the United Arab Emirates. Reportedly, Cleartrip has declared its global booking on low cost global carriers and hotels that includes Air India Express along with Air Arabia and Tiger Airways. Air India Express officials told the media that with the global offering program from Cleartrip passengers shall be able to check all flight schedules of the Air India Express via Air Fare Calendar on the Cleartrip website.
On the other hand, Air India Express is witnessing heavy ruckus as there has been shortage of flight commanders. It was in the month of March that the contracts for 49 flight attendants of Air India Express on a pay scale of Rs. 8000 plus Rs 200 as air flight charges came to an end. As a matter of fact, Air India Express which happens to be one of the most low budget carrier of the country is facing severe shortage for flight commanders and senior pilots.
Air India Express officials told the media that almost one-fourth of the crew in the current job profile have given up their jobs in a time span of 12 months. Air India Express witnessed 25 flight commanders out of a total 102 flight commanders who have given up their jobs between 2009 and 2010. It was said that the flight commanders who left their jobs were done with their contracts with Air India Express. It’s been a serious issue for Air India Express as they are left with no option but to schedule flights without the availability of the required number of flight commanders.
