AFMC Declares Mandatory Courses

COLUMBUS, OHIO (GaeaTimes.com)- All new employees (15,000) for AFMC (Air Force Materiel Command National Security Personnel System) are to undergo a mandatory online training course before they can commence their duties. Sherre Collier, who happens to be the AFMC NSPS (National Security Personnel System) Transition Office program manager said that it’s important that all supervisors as well as the new joiners should undergo the training so as to be prepared for any questions that are being asked by the new employees in due course of their base training.
Reportedly, the AFMC training course shall also include electronic registration for civilian employee personnel. The existing AFMC employees are allowed to pin their own course certificates alongside their records. They simply need to access the NSPS Transition Portal and key in their passphrase to the enter the AFMC Portal. The “Communities” link at on the same page will guide all of them towards the AFMC Social Search. Following that one has to look out for the tab that says “AFMC NSPS Transition. The candidate will be directed towards the course which shall launch the training module on the screen.
All existing supervisors of AFMC are to finish their courses by the given time lime of August 2, 2010 which is accordance to the NDAA (National Defense Authorization Act) provision which is befitting NSPS Air Force Plan that gains ground with the NSPS workforce of Air Force Materiel Command National Security Personnel System. The AFMC course shall grant allcivilianemployeesworking in the AFMC base to upgrade their civilian personnel records in accordance to the DCPDS (Defense Civilian Personnel Data System). Civilian employees who shall be working for AFMC at the base will be exempted from the rule and they do not require to complete any training through DCPDS.
