Kerala Government Supports Infopark Phase-II

KOCHI, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)- Infopark Kochi, being a domain of Kerala Government, has invited RFP’s from international consultants for their second wing expansion of Kochi’s Info Park. Reportedly, Infopark Kochi happens to be a Kerala Government initiative which is looking forward to make the very best in terms of facilities and modern amenities. Kerala Government said that the second phase of Infopark shall have a sprawling compound stretching over 8 million square feet which shall house several different firms and companies with an accommodation of 80,000.

Siddhartha Bhattacharya who happens to be the CEO of Kerala Infopark told the media that they have already stared accepting all requests coming from the RFP’s and that they shall make sure that the second wing expansion of the structure is decked up with the very best of infrastructural inputs as a single point developing domain which repeats its previous iteration.

Kerala Government officials have stated that the structural work for the second phase of Infopark shall kick off from the month of July 2010. Kerala Government’s Infopark at Kochi which is the first phase of the structure has an enormous accommodation of 10,000 offices which belongs to global companies like US Technologies, Zerone Consulting, SIT Mobile, NHR Outsourcing, IBS, Alcatel Lucent, Tata Consultancy Services, ACS, Wipro and Arbitron. Moreover, the Kerala Government initiative also acts as a single window clearance domain for all IT professionals and service providers along with the investors and developers who are benefited largely from the structure. The second wing of Infopark Kochi makes the principal IT secretary Ajay Kumar a happy man who told the media recently that he is extremely elated for the upcoming project which shall establish Infopark to be the breeding ground for all IT Professionals coming from all over the country.
