Tourist’s rush to Himachal, as heat continues in other parts of the country

SIRMOUR - As mercury rises in other parts of northern India, the Renuka Lake of Himachal Pradesh’s Sirmour district is attracting lots of tourists.

The Renuka Lake boasts of being the largest natural lake in Himachal Pradesh and is dedicated to Goddess Renuka.

“Tourists come here and enjoy boating, this is beneficial for all people involved in travel business. We have good tourism business in three months; weather is very pleasant and cool here. I do boating here and I am doing good business. Tourists admire the beauty of lake and enjoy boating here,” said Chander Prasad, a local Travel Agent.

Boating and cool climate is also one of the sources for tourists here.

“I have come here to visit the natural beauty and to see the actual life in the midst of nature. It feels good to visit such nice and beautiful place,” said Salochana Sharma, a tourist.

In summer, the biggest natural Lake receives thousands of tourists across India and other parts of the world. (ANI)
