BANGKOK - A delegation from the People’s Network for Protecting the Nation has submitted a letter to Army Region 1 commander General Kanit Saphithak, asking him to impose martial law or use any other stringent measure to end a continuing political problem.
A Bangkok Post report said Friday that an officer representing Gen Kanit received the letter.
The letter was submitted during a visit to the Phramongkut hospital to see soldiers who were injured during clashes between government forces and the red-shirts on Saturday night. (ANI)
