SUGAR DROP: Sugar prices fell Tuesday after traders pulled out of the market on reports that Brazil is harvesting a healthy crop that could help boost global supplies.
SOUR TREND: Sugar prices have retreated about 43 percent since hitting a 29-year high in February amid expectations that supplies will grow this year.
MIXED BAG: Gold and energy prices were mixed while wheat, soybeans and corn fell.
