NEW DELHI, India (GaeaTimes.com)- Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) which is one of the highly esteemed government Enterprise, is in a recruitment drive. According to reports, the government enterprise is in need of 727 Apprentice Development Officer. The form will be available Online from 7th March.

People can fill up the form online by visiting the official website of Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC). The fees for the form can be paid at the branch offices of LIC all over India. However, the online form will only become valid for the person after the fees is paid at the LIC branch. The recruitment will be done on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the written examination which will be conducted by the LIC authority. The date for the written examination for the LIC ADO recruitment has been set on June 13, 2010. However, the candidates who will pass the examination will have to take the personal interview. It is only after the personal interview that the final selected candidates will be declared. The written examination will test the general knowledge of the candidate along with his knowledge of English. There would be also questions which will test the reasoning ability of the candidate along with numerical ability.

The ADOs will have to recruit agents for LIC and guide them to get maximum number of clients for the company. The job will be sales oriented according to the speculation and will need the officers to travel to places all over India. They will be also responsible for providing after sales services to the clients.
