Summary Box: Gold retreats as euro concerns ease
GOLD DROPS: Gold prices continued to fall as concerns about the euro have eased. It’s down nearly 4 percent in less than two weeks.
OIL DOES TOO: Oil and other energy contracts fell after mixed economic reports had investors unsure about future demand.
GRAINS ARE STILL VOLATILE: Corn, wheat and soybeans remained volatile, a couple of days after the Agriculture Department said corn and wheat supplies are bigger than expected.
