Summary Box: Corn, wheat fall on oversupply
CORN: For the second time in three months, the USDA’s latest crop report surprised analysts. Supply rose unexpected by 80 million bushels. Analysts were expecting a slight drop.
WHEAT: Wheat prices fell after the Agriculture Department increased its supply estimate by 20 million bushels to about 1 billion bushels.
SOYBEANS: Soybeans were the lone winner after the report. Supply of the beans fell slightly more than expected.
