Re: Sandra Bullock 2010 Oscars
LOS ANGELES, (GaeaTimes.com)- Sandra Bullock’s Oscar acceptance speech is being marked as one of the best award acceptance speech of the evening. The 45 year old actress who held the Oscar gold statuette in the hand was able to deliver a speech which brought a smile and laugh on the face of the audience.

Sandra Bullock, who is famous for her witty comments, increased the charm of the Oscar evening with her speech which led the otherwise silent hall to burst into laughter. Just after receiving the award, Sandra Bullock asked that “Did I finally wear all of you down, or did I really earn the award deserving?” Sandra Bullock then went on to praise the other nominees for the Best Actress Award and poked actress Meryl Streep jocundly by referring to the veteran actress as her “Lover”. Sandra Bullock also referred to Meryl Streep as a great kisser. The mention seemed intentional as in 2010’s January, the media had hyped the Sandra Bullock-Meryl Streep lip-lock during the Critic’s Choice Awards. The humorous tone continued as the actress went on to thank all people who have been good or “mean” to her and especially mentioned the name of George Clooney lightheartedly, saying that she still holds grudges against the actor who had almost drowned her in a pool some time ago.

In Sandra Bullock’s speech, the actress thanked the film which brought her the award “The Blind Side”. She also thanked her mother who according to her, taught her about the non-existence of religion, class, race and color which divides human beings.
