DHT Maritime forms new holding company
Oil tanker operator DHT Maritime Inc. said on Monday that it has formed a new company called DHT Holdings Inc., organized in the Marshall Islands.
The company said shareholders of DHT Maritime Inc., which is based in St. Helier, Channel Islands, will own one share of the new holding company on a one-for-one basis when markets open on Tuesday. The ticker symbol remains DHT.
DHT shares rose 20 cents, or 5.7 percent, to close at $3.72 before the announcement on Monday.
