WASHINGTON - A Nepalese man, standing just 22 inches tall, is trying to claim the title of the world’s shortest man.
Khagendra Thapa Magar is looking to topple current record holder He Pingping of China who is 29 inches tall.
The 18-year-old left his home country for Europe to draw the attention of Guinness World Record officials, who, it was claimed, are yet to respond, Discovery News reported.
His father, Rup Bahadur Thapa Magar, told reporters in Kathmandu: “We are going to Italy to try to record his name in the Guinness Book of World Records.”
The pair is planning to make an appearance on an Italian television show to campaign for the title. (ANI)
