LOWER EXPECTATIONS: Campbell Soup Co. lowered its forecast for a sales increase to 2.5 percent to 3.5 percent, down from 4 percent to 5 percent. The company didn’t change its profit outlook.

LOWER SODIUM: Campbell plans to cut sodium in 23 of its condensed soups by up to 45 percent, following on similar changes to other products.

LABEL REFRESH: New photos will play up soups’ appearance. The chicken noodle, cream of mushroom and tomato soup labels won’t change.
