NEW DELHI - The Centre on Friday issued a travel advisory on Chinese visas.

An official release by the Ministry of External Affairs said the Chinese embassy in Delhi and Chinese consulates in Mumbai and Kolkata are issuing visas on a separate piece of paper stapled to the passport to certain categories of Indian nationals on the basis of their domicile.

The release, however, said, paper visas stapled to a passport would not be considered valid for traveling outside the country.

Official sources claimed this particular issue has been taken up with the Chinese Government.

Visas should be pasted on passports as is the usual practice, added the release. (ANI)
