Joshi assures full support to Andhra Pradesh Govt.

NEW DELHI - Union Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Dr. C. P. Joshi on Friday met Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. K. Rossaiyah and assured full support for the development of the state.
Both the Ministers held a high level meeting in which Dr. Joshi said that Andhra Pradesh will get full cooperation from the Centre in respect of timely aid by the Ministry for the implementation of Mahatma Gandhi NREGA along with other flagship programs of the Government under the Ministry of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj.
The two leaders also discussed the progress of Centrally sponsored Rural Development Schemes in the state specially the Mahatma Gandhi NREGA, Indira Awas Yojna, Rural Drinking Water Supply, Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana and the issues related to the non-plan financial support for the smooth working of Panchayati Raj institutions in the State.
Dr. Joshi while assuring full support also advised Dr. Rossaiyah to pursue setting up of Rajiv Gandhi Sewa Kendra in every Panchayat of the State.
Andhra Pradesh Rural Development Minister V. Vasant Kumar was also present during the meeting. (ANI)
