South Korean President Lee Myung-bak arrives on a four-day State visit

NEW DELHI - South Korean President Lee Myung-bak on Sunday arrived in the national capital on a four-day State visit by a special aircraft, accompanied by his wife Kim Yoon-ok and a high-level delegation.
President Lee Myung-bak will be the chief guest at the Republic Day parade on Tuesday (January 26).
He will be given military honours at the forecourt of Rashtrapati Bhavan on Monday (January 25) after which he will proceed to the Rajghat to lay wreath at the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi.
Myung-bak is scheduled to hold meetings with top Indian leaders including President Pratibha Devisingh Patil, Vice-President Mohammad Hamid Ansari and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
He would also meet Chairperson of the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) Sonia Gandhi and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj. (ANI)
