11 killed as truck overturns in Kerala

ERUMELI - Eleven pilgrims were killed on their way to the famous Sabarimala Temple in Kerala, when the truck in which they were traveling, overturned in Pathanamthitta district.

The pilgrims hailed from Andhra Pradesh.

It is reported that there was rainfall in the area when the mishap took place.

Around 42 pilgrims were in the truck and all were men. Several others were injured as the vehicle overturned.

The injured had been rushed to the nearby Kanjirapally Hospital for medical aid. (ANI)
