NEWARK, (GaeaTimes.com)- PATH train service has been suspended in both directions from Newark and had created a problem on Tuesday morning. It is one of the mostly used transport system of the region and the sudden disruption of the service created inconvenience. It has been reported that some problem in the Amtrak dock bridge led to the sudden disruption of services in the morning. However, the PATH authorities did not mention the actual fault that had made them suspend the rail service temporarily.
As the PATH train service was suspended in both directions from Penn Station to Journal Square in the Newark City, many people had to opt for alternate transportation system to reach their destination. Though the suspension of PATH train caused inconvenience to the commuters, they did not have to face much trouble as the services was restored within a short span of time. According to the reports, the PATH train service has been made available on this route from 8 a.m. Reports indicate that the trains were running late by ten minutes due to the problem of the bridge.
Even after the train services were resumed, some passengers opted for bus services as the train was running late. As there is a delay in the service of PATH train, it will be better if people start their journey in advance. Transportation delay is common in the wintry months and PATH train service, which was temporarily suspended in both directions from Newark might have been just another similar incident. The officials have not made any comment on when the train service will follow the normal schedule.
