DARA DULLIAN - Two bombs dropped during India’s war with Pakistan in the 1960s and 1970s have been recovered from Dara Dullian village in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district.

The Indian Army and Air Force jointly conducted the search operation for the two bombs, weighing 230 kilograms each.

About 500 sandbags were placed around the bombs before they were exploded to contain collateral damage.

“Both blasts were carried out properly, traffic was also halted during the operation, the army personnel were working throughout the day. Our houses are alright,” said Vishal Kumar, a villager.ANI)
