Canada (GaeaTimes.com)- The film Savage Messiah depicts the sordid acts ofRoch Thriault considered,as the most notorious criminal in Canada’s history. He was the leader of a religious group in Ontario, Canada. He wrecked havoc in the lives of 26 kids and 12 women. The 9 women were used by him as concubines and he is suspected to have fathered most of the kids too. He was taken into police custody in 1989 and after 4 years, got convicted of murder charges. He was not granted parole in 2002 and is currently undergoing a life sentence. He had a sadistic nature and mutilated several people in his life in most gruesome ways. He used sharp instruments to cut off the body parts of his victims.
He castrated a man once and did the same with a 2 year old boy. His main crime was the killing of his legitimate wife, Solange Boilard. It was a gruesome murder, as he disemboweled her when a surgery was going on. The group that he ran was based on sadistic themes like polygamy, physical punishments, torturing women etc. These overtones highlight the fact that Roch Thriault is the most notorious criminal in Canada’s history.
He demanded the followers not to question his acts and wanted absolute obedience. He also claimed to have miraculous powers, which was nothing but blatant lies. He had a charming nature that attracted women and his targets often failed to see the wolf lurking inside the preacher. He had the power to convince people. There was a huge outcry when his crimes were revealed. People came to know that Roch Thriault is indeed the most notorious criminal in Canada’s history.
