Bihar cabinet meets at Buddhist Stupa in Rajgir

NALANDA - Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar held a cabinet meeting with his council of ministers on Tuesday at Rajgir in Nalanda here.
Nitish, who arrived here in a chopper played Shanti Dhak, a musical instrument from the chopper to the venue.
The council of ministers that had gathered for the meeting used the ropeway to reach the place.
He held a cabinet meeting at the convention centre near the Stupa of Lord Buddha.
A delighted Nitish said that he was camping in Rajgir because of its glorious past.
“Our mission is to develop the area into a supreme tourist spot to earn revenue,” he added.
The state Chief Minister is on a five-day tour of Rajgir. (ANI)
