Kenworth Truck to use Cummins Westport engines
VANCOUVER — Cummins Westport Inc. said Tuesday that Kenworth Truck Co. will use its natural gas engine for two of its truck models.
Cummins Westport, which specializes in alternative fuel engines for commercial transportation, will provide engines for the Kenworth T800 and W900S models.
The engines run on either compressed natural gas or liquefied natural gas, which Cummins says allows them to maintain high performance while reducing emissions.
