“We had received a call from a police station around 7.20 in the morning that a building has collapsed in Udyog Vihar Phase 1, plot number 100, and people were trapped under it. We immediately sent two cars from and asked the Bhim Nagar police station to take all the manpower along with three officers. After reaching and enquiring at the site, we had realised that two people were trapped under the building. One portion of the building had already collapsed and the other portion would collapse soon,” said Hanuman Singh Sihaag, a Fire Officer.
