Pranab Mukherjee holds pre-Budget talks with film industry delegation

NEW DELHI - Union Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee met the film industry delegation accompanied by Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting Ambika Soni here on Friday as part of his pre-Budget consultations.

The delegation consisted of about 20 members including Yash Chopra, Ramesh Sippy, Mukesh Bhatt all representing Films and Producers Guild.

Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) Secretary General Dr. Amit Mitra, Film Federation of India Vice President L. Suresh, AROI Chairperson Anuradha Prasad, Rajeev Waghle, Group CFO, UTV, Subhashish Sarkar, CFO, Reliance Big Films, Ashish Kularni, CEO, Big Animation and Puneet Goenka, CEO, Zee Tele films were among the other delegates present on the occasion.

The representatives of different forums of film industry gave their suggestions for consideration and inclusion in the forthcoming General Budget for 2011-12. (ANI)
