P. F. Chang’s Rock ‘N’ Roll Arizona Marathon: Josh Cox And Sally Meyerhoff Win

PHOENIX (GaeaTimes.com)- On Sunday, nearly 30,000 participants walked or ran the streets of Arizona to win the coveted trophy and prize of P. F. Chang’s Rock ‘N’ Roll Arizona Marathon. The streets of the city were buzzing with thousands of people who came on the streets to witness such a great event. Josh Cox became the winner of Men’s race and Sally Meyerhoff came as the winner among female participants.

Australia’s Shawn Forrest won the title of men’s half marathon winner in P. F. Chang’s Rock ‘N’ Roll Arizona Marathon as he completed his journey in 1 hour, 3 minutes and 7 seconds. The winner said that he wanted to win and at the end of the day, his dream came true. Madai Perez of Mexico won among the female participants in half marathon. Kara Goucher came second, however, she said that she is happy to be back on the track once again.

Josh Cox crossed the finish line in 2:17:32 to win the P. F. Chang’s Rock ‘N’ Roll Arizona Marathon this year. The winner said that though he could not break the American record but he is happy to win the event. He said that it was a “great” day for him as he won the title again but a difference of “seven seconds” is something hard for him to gulp down. Sally Meyerhoff of Arizona was overwhelmed after winning the Marathon for the first time. In her interview, the female winner said that she feels “awesome” to bag the title. Sally Meyerhoff said that she wanted to win the race from past three years and it was an “unbelievable” win for her.
