NEW DELHI - Kerala Chief Minister VS Achuthanandan has a clean reputation and will come out victorious if the state assembly elections are conducted now, according to politicsparty.com.

Politicsparty.com, which conducted a voters’ attitude poll, in all the 140 assembly constituencies in Kerala to understand the voters’ mood four months before the polls has come out with this opinion.

The research survey to gauge the voters mood was conducted over three-days during January 12 to 14.

During the survey, they interviewed around 200 people (100 men and 100 women) in each assembly constituency.

A team of highly qualified specialist psephologists with no political loyalties and possessing independent professional integrity conducted the poll.

The sample interviewed for the survey included the socio-economic demographic profile of both men and women in all the regions of Kerala.

According to the survey, the Communists led Left Democratic Front is winning the polls to form a new government in the state, while the Congress led United Democratic Front (UDF) is losing the assembly elections.

The Communists led Left Democratic Front is winning 75 MLAs, while the Congress led UDF is winning 65 MLAs.

The Left Democratic Front reportedly has a slight edge above UDF only because the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance (UPA) Government at the Centre has been under severe criticism for several scams during its present tenure. (ANI)
