Jharkhand Govt. to organise cabinet meetings in district headquarters : Munda

KHARSWAN - Jharkhand Chief Minister Arjun Munda on Saturday said the State Government will organise cabinet meetings in district headquarters and remote villages to increase transparency at various administrative levels.
“State cabinet meetings will be organised not only in all district headquarters of the state but also in remote villages to develop transparency networking system up to panchayat level,” said Munda.
“The entire state cabinet and the government officials will present at the meeting. The purpose is to inculcate confidence among people, motivate them to be involved in the development process and to ensure that the officials understand local problems. e are chalking out a strategy to implement the plan after the budget session,” he added.
Munda further said the success of the panchayat elections, which has taken place in the state after 33 years, will boost government’s attempt to carry out rapid development and encourage people, especially women, to take part in the process.
Commenting on the new industrial policy of his government, Munda said: “They are working on it and the cabinet is likely to take it up in March. Presently, the government has extended the existing industrial policy. The policy will be incomplete without adequate skilled manpower. The focus of the policy will be mobilisation of youth and generate maximum employment opportunity.” (ANI)
