Abu Dhabi, Dec 1 (IANS/WAM) A South Korean cyclist who has travelled across 191 countries on a bicycle arrived in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Wednesday.

Okhwan Yoon is on a mission to propagate world peace.

A law graduate, he owned a clothing company in South Korea before embarking on his trip. He cycles around 200 km every day and has been to every country other than North Korea.

“The UAE is the most industry-environment harmonious country… the safest I have ever visited,” the 48-year old cyclist said.

Okhwan has no plans to rest as he will begin a saddle-less bicycle trip very soon.

“The finale of my journey is a saddle-less cycling around the world starting from Bhutan,” said Okhwan, who is also a writer and political analyst.

He hopes to join the South Korean parliament in the future and would also write a book on his journey.

Okhwan can speak English, French, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, German and Russian. “Now I can read Arabic,” he said.
