KARACHI - Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) Senator Faisal Raza Abidi said his security guard and guard’s son were set on fire near Sohrab Goth area of Karachi on Friday.

Abidi said that his police guard Naeem and his five-year-old son were travelling on a motor-bike when unidentified assailants set them on fire, a Dawn report has said.

The guard and his son were rushed to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital from where they were taken to the Agha Khan Hospital.

“I receive threats regularly on my cell phone and through emails and facebook messages but it is a cowardly act to target a five-year innocent son of a guard,” said Abidi.

Both the injured are said to be critical condition. (ANI)
