NAWABSHAH - A powerful blast has partially damaged a railway track and affected train service in Nawabshah city in Pakistan’s Sindh province on Wednesday.

According to the Dawn, another bomb was also planted near the track, which has been neutralized by a bomb disposal squad.

The explosion occurred on the up-track going from Sindh to Punjab following which train services were suspended immediately.

Officials have cordoned off the area, and are investigating the incident.

This is the third attack on railway lines near Hyderabad in the past three days.

Earlier, on Tuesday, a blast reportedly formed a two-foot deep crater on the track near Detha in Hyderabad.
