Maoist commander, 5 others s arrested in Bihar’s Gaya District

GAYA - Bihar police nabbed six hard core Maoists including Deep Singh, the area commander of the Revolutionary Core Committee (RCC) from Gaya District.

A police team headed by Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Amit Lodha got information that Deep Singh was hiding in nearby Khekara village and arrested him.

After his arrest, police cordoned off another area and arrested five other Maoists on the basis of information provided by Deep Singh.

Lodha said Deep Singh was wanted by the police in connection with nearly a dozen cases of extortion and arson. (ANI)
