Omar Abdullah to review security measures with Unified Headquarters

SRINAGAR - Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah will review security measures with the Unified Headquarters here on Monday.

According to a television report, the meeting will focus on specific counter-strategies and measures to prevent terrorist attacks in populated areas.

Intelligence reports have indicated the possibility of increased in violence in Jammu and Kashmir ahead of President Obama’s visit.

The Army has tightened the three-tier security grid.

The Unified Headquarters meeting comes on the sidelines of a Core Group meeting that took place on Saturday.

15 Corps Commander Lt. Gen. NC Marwah chaired the meeting. (ANI)
