Normalcy prevails in Kashmir Valley with no curfew restrictions on Sunday

SRINAGAR - Situation remained normal and peaceful throughout Kashmir Valley on Sunday evening.

However, some miscreants resorted to stone pelting on security forces at Chan khan area of Sopore, earlier in the day.

Security Forces responded to bring the situation back under control. One miscreant, identified as Waseem Akbar lone son of Mohammad Akbar lone resident of Chan khan Sopore, sustained injuries in the action.

He was later shifted from sub district Hospital Sopore to SKIMS Soura Srinagar. His condition was said to be stable.

Stone pelting was also reported from Shopian, near District Collector office, as the miscreants were chased away. (ANI)
