Jharkhand Police arrest three Maoists, five criminals from Gumla district

GUMLA - Jharkhand Police arrested three Maoists belonging to the People’s Liberation Front of India (PLFI) outfit and five other criminals from Gumla District on Friday.

The arrested Maoists are accused of murder, kidnapping, charging protection money from people.

“We have arrested Mangal Nageshia, an active member of the PLFI, who is also the sub-zonal commander, and five more criminals have been arrested. One of them is Lalu Khadia, who is Mangal Nageshia’s shooter. He has been arrested with arms and ammunitions,” said N.K Singh, Superintendent of Police, Gumla.

“If we see the total list of arms then three country made pistols, bullets, knives and 6,000 rupees have been recovered,” he added. (ANI)
