Curfew relaxed in various parts of Kashmir valley

SRINAGAR - Situation in the Kashmir Valley was normal and under control on Thursday evening, as curfew was relaxed in different parts here in the daytime.

Authorities relaxed curfew restrictions in Kakapora, Lethpora, Tral, and Awantipora, from 1 pm to 4 p.m., while in Ganderbal, and Kangan, it was been relaxed from 1 to 3 p.m..

In Srinagar city’s East, West and South Zones, restrictions had been relaxed from 3 pm onwards, while in North and Hazratbal Zones, from 5 pm onwards, a Jammu and Kashmir police release stated.

In Anantnag and Bijbehara, curfew was relaxed from 3 to 7 pm, and in Kralpora and Kupwara town, from 2 to 6 pm. In Budgam curfew was relaxed town ,Shiekhpra,Ompora, from 4 pm to 7 pm and in Haidepora, PirBagh and Humhama from 3 pm to 7 pm.In Shopian from 4pm onwards.

However, curfew was re-imposed in Pulwama after incidents of stone pelting. (ANI)
