Ind. woman faces neglect charges in 2 kids’ deaths

INDIANAPOLIS — Police say they’re holding a woman on preliminary charges of neglect in the deaths of two of her children at an Indianapolis apartment complex.

City police Sgt. Linda Jackson says 28-year-old Edyan Farah faces two preliminary counts of neglect in the deaths at Manchester Village Apartments. She and two men were taken to police headquarters Sunday night from the complex on the city’s east side.

Jackson said Farah is the mother of the two young children found dead Sunday as well as three other children removed from the apartment by police.

Autopsies are pending on the two children.
