LAHORE - About 500 Indian Sikh devotees are going to Pakistan to attend events marking Guru Nanak Dev’s 471st death anniversary.

According to The Daily Times, they would arrive at the Wagah Railway Station in Lahore on Monday.

The main function would be held at Kirtarpur Gurudwara in Punjab province.

Over 1,000 Indian Sikhs usually travelled to Pakistan for the event called ‘Joti Jot’, but the number has drastically fallen after relations between the two countries were strained in the wake of the 26/11 Mumbai attacks. (ANI)
