Suspicious package at Philly IRS not harmful

PHILADELPHIA — Employees are back inside an Internal Revenue Service office in Philadelphia that was evacuated because of a suspicious envelope.

Philadelphia police say the envelope contained a vial with a plastic bag over it. But they say tests show no harmful materials were inside.

Authorities say that workers evacuated shortly before noon Friday and that the office reopened a few hours later.
