Venu Srinivasan’s Daughter Lakshmi Venu To Marry Rohan Murthy

BANGALORE, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)- Rohan Murthy, the son of Infosys co-founder and Chairman N R Narayana Murthy is all set to tie the knot with Lakshmi Venu who is the daughter of Venu Srinivasan, the TVS Motor Co-chairman. The couple got engaged to each other in a quiet ceremony amidst family and friends on Friday evening just a day after Rohan Murthy proposed to the 26-year-old girl, sources have revealed. The news of the couple planning to get married in the near future has been confirmed to the media by the Infosys chairman.

While revealing details of the bright new chapter in the life of his son, the founder of the second largest software services firm of the country, stated that Rohan Murthy was introduced to Lakshmi Venu, daughter of TVS Motor Co-chairman through a common friend while divulging that both the families are extremely happy as well as excited about the impending nuptials. At the same time, it has been reported that the wedding date has not been fixed as yet as the families have left the decision on the couple. N R Narayana Murthy further stated that his son is quite an independent person and so they want their son and his would-be-bride to take the final call about when the want to tie the knot.

While Rohan Murthy is a doctoral student in computer science from Harvard University and also has a degree in engineering from Cornell University, Venu Srinivasan’s daughter Lakshmi Venu has a doctorate in engineering management from Britain’s Warwick University while she has also studied economics at Yale University.
