Body found in Lake Mich., 1 swimmer still missing

CHICAGO — Authorities in Chicago say they believe a body found in Lake Michigan is one of two missing swimmers who jumped from a boat into the water.

The discovery comes hours after two women were rescued in the lake after four people jumped from a 26-foot sailboat to go swimming around 1 a.m. on Friday. Authorities are still searching for the fourth man.

Police say after the four jumped in the water, the boat drifted away, and the two women lost contact with the men.

The women treaded water for about four hours before they were spotted by a fishing boat and pulled to safety around 6 a.m.
