Jaipur, July 14 (ANI): The sale of protective rain gear like umbrellas, raincoats and similar items have failed to pick up in Jaipur due to inadequate rainfall during the monsoon season in Rajashthan.

Most of the shops and business units are witnessing a decrease in their business due to inadequate rainfall. Vendors dealing in items like raincoat, tarpaulins, and umbrellas are worried about their business.

The sale has gone down and average sale is around 10 to 15 percent only.

“Whole day we are sitting here and we don’t even get a customer of rupees Rs 100 to 200,” said Anil, a local shopkeeper.

The city’s businessmen complain they are running into losses. (ANI)
