LAHORE - A Pakistan court has directed the federal and Punjab governments to submit a reply on a petition challenging the facilities being provided to double murder-accused Raymond Davis in jail.

According to the Dawn, the Lahore High Court (LHC) has asked the governments to submit a response by March 14.

The petition states that jail authorities were providing Davis with the food of his choice, and that they were also facilitating him in his meetings.

The petition requested the court to demand an explanation from the government as to why the US citizen was not being treated as prescribed by the jail manual. (ANI)
