JAMMU - Dispelling rumours that the Jammu and Kashmir Police were rounding up minors and booking them under the Public Safety Act (PSA), Chief Minister Omar Abdullah Saturday tweeted that “no minors” were being “detained under PSA” in the state.

The PSA enables the state to book anyone suspected of causing trouble and detain the person for a year without chargesheeting him in the court of law. The law is invoked to book terrorists, their sympathisers, hardcore criminals and habitual troublemakers.
