Bihar’s development result of sustained initiatives, investments: Nitish Kumar

PATNA - Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Sunday said the development in the state is the result of sustained initiatives and investments.

Addressing a function organised by Bihar Social Welfare Department, Kumar asking the financial institutions to gear up for the purpose said that there are several steps, which the financial institutions have to adopt to boost investments in the state.

He further said the standard of development in Bihar would have to be changed with thrust on nutrition, education and health infrastructure.

“The state government has decided to make available health cards to more than 2.7 crore children going to schools which would have record of nutrition and health,” said Kumar.

“The children going to Anganwadi Kendras will also be issued health cards,” he added. (ANI)
