KUALA LUMPUR - A Malaysian couple has become the proud parents of their second child born at 11.11am on 11-1-11.

Businesswoman Zakinah Espuratar and her husband, Muhammad Jeffri Mohamed named their new baby Nur Syarah Syazwana.

“We now have two princesses in the family,” the Star Online quoted Zakinah, 30, who already has an eight-year-old daughter, as saying.

“I had wanted to have my baby on New Year’s Day . . . but Jan 11 is even more special,” she stated.

She is one of two girls born at the Puteri Specialist Hospital in Johor Baru at the same time and same day.

For physiotherapist Hasliana Kadir, 30, her first-born girl came like a ray of sunshine.

“There were some complications because I had opted for natural birth. I have a feeling that my daughter will be a smart child because she wanted to come out on such a special date,” she stated.

Hasliana, who works at the hospital, has named her baby Nur Afiqah. (ANI)
