SEATTLE, (GaeaTimes.com)- The chances of a potential snow storm have led to the change in schedule by many Seattle Public Schools. On Tuesday many schools in the city chose to withdraw their after school deciding not to expose the students amidst the harsh weather conditions. The National Weather Service had already announced that the on Tuesday the city dwellers would get to see the weather conditions taking a nasty toll after they predicted rain amidst the severe cold.

Classes however were conducted on Tuesday. The only change that took place in the school programs were the after school activities. A spokesperson of the West Seattle Elementary school informed that the school authorities had decided to conduct normal classes except for the fact that the community learning center would not be held. Sanislo Elementary School also informed that they had chosen not to conduct the unicycling club program along with a mathematics tutorial class that they generally held after the normal classes get over. The athletic director of the Chief Sealth International High School has informed that they have shifted their boys basketball game program to the next season. The wrestling match between the West Seattle High School and Nathan Hale that was scheduled to take place on Tuesday had also been canceled. It is evident how much the freezing weather conditions had forced the Seattle Public Schools to bring in so many changes in their schedule.

Even though Tuesday saw the Seattle Public Schools making so many changes and cancellations, Wednesday is expected to be a normal day. The meteorological department said that they are expecting the weather conditions to improve by Wednesday morning. The change is supposed to take place in between 2 to 4 am on Wednesday morning. The major snow fall hit the area before 7 pm on Tuesday evening.
